Memories and fears are intertwined,
A constant battle in the mind,
For the emotional person, it’s hard to find,
A way to leave the past behind.
The memories of joy and pain,
Can cause the heart to ache again,
And fears of what may come to pass,
Can make the present seem like a trap.
But in the midst of all the pain,
There’s hope for a brighter day,
For memories can be a source of strength,
And fears can be faced with courage at length.
So to the emotional person I say,
Take heart in the memories you’ve made,
And face your fears with boldness and grace,
For you are stronger than you know, in any case.
